Text appointment reminders and updates
Send reminders and "on my way" texts to cut down on no-shows.
Before you start
- SMS is a Pro feature.
- The customer has a mobile number on file.
Note · SMS is part of Pro.
Crewato texts your customers from the work order — reminders before the visit and an "on my way" heads-up — and keeps a message history on each customer.
Send a text from a work order
- 1Open the work order.
- 2Click Send appointment reminder to review and edit the message, then send.
- 3Or click On my way — a one-tap heads-up when you're heading over.
Automatic reminders
- 1Go to Settings → Notifications.
- 2Turn on Send a reminder 24 hours before each appointment (on by default), and/or the 1-hour reminder. Save.
Note · If a customer replies STOP, they're opted out automatically and Crewato won't text them again. Their full SMS history lives on the customer's page.
